costly quality, for the layman's budget. : Boss BV9990 4 x 85 Watts DVD/MP3/CD Receiver
I can not advise this product!
I bought this receiver in December 2009 and had it professionally installed. Within 3 month any way it wouldn't work any longer. I contacted Amazon and they referred me to the maker because the return window had already closed. It took me over a month to ultimately get a return authorization code that I had to have to return the receiver for repair. I got the money order they needed to pay for the shipping costs from their end, shipped it out on my own costs, and, got it back yesterday (after 3 weeks), with the note that no blemish was found. So, I went back to get it reinstalled, and, guess what, still not working. It receives power but that's it. By now I had the costs of the goods (plus s&h) and an extra $50.- for the costs to get it repaired, and still no working product. The manufacturer's guaranty that Amazon refers to obviously is not worth anything, as you have to pay all the s&h, which can get very expensive. So now I am stuck with having paid over $300.- for a receiver that only worked for 3 month, and will have to buy other receiver (which I will Not buy straight through Amazon because of their disastrous return policy).
